Apartments & interiors designed by your hosts

Product designers, Rósa and Snæbjörn´s goal was to design elegant luxurious flats for the independent budget traveller. The idea behind the design is to make each space as comfortable and practical as possible. The layout as well as all the interior is designed by the couple.

The apartment house is in the family home back garden and their design studio is right next door. The house dates from the 1920´s but has undergone complete renovation.

Surrounded by contemporary Icelandic art

The couple use a mixture of contemporary Icelandic design and recycled products in the apartments. The artwork is all done by Icelandic artists. This is to promote Iceland´s up and coming creative people, as well as making it possible for the visitor to experience or even purchase what´s on show.
